Sheet hinged to mat at the two top corners. Old tape residue along upper edge of sheet on verso. Mat burn. No tears or nicks to sheet. A pin hole in margin at lower right. Rippling along edges of sheet. Wrinkling to a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 in. area of upper left corner of sheet. A few small spots of foxing in margins. Matted and framed under acrylic.

Property from the Estate of Ernest E. Warsaw, Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army Air Forces, navigator with the 100th Bomb Group, the famed “Bloody Hundredth” of the Eighth Air Force, who flew 13 combat missions over Europe before being shot down and taken prisoner in 1943.
