"This full scale, well executed, bronze wax cast sculpture is finished with a green patina representing the original colour used on the 1929 model. The driver is positioned as if he were entering a right hand corner at speed and retains one hand on the gear lever. His cap, back to front with spare goggles around his neck and is depicted wearing baggy overalls over civilian clothes. The car, with British racing green coachwork and bearing the No.12 in white, was driven by Williams Grover, a long term salesman for Bugatti at their Paris showrooms."
