Condition
An area of in-painting at lower left, corresponding to a 1 x 1 inch patch to verso of canvas. Possibly with a few areas of further in-painting (difficult to read.) Discoloration to varnish. Stretcher creases along the four sides. Craquelure throughout. A 1/4 inch-long indented line in upper right quadrant in the sky. A 1/4 x 1/4 inch black mark or accretion in upper right quadrant on the female figure's right shoulder. Minor paint abrasion along the stretcher crease at upper right. Frame abrasion to lower left corner. The frame with scattered chips.
